Over the course of seven days, you will immerse yourself in the world of ancient traditions and modern realities, get acquainted with the cultural heritage that has inspired more than one generation. Majestic landscapes of the Armenian mountains, secluded corners hiding the secrets of history, and lively cities with a unique flavor await you.

You will have a unique opportunity to see how lavash is traditionally baked – bread symbolizing hospitality and well-being. You will visit the legendary Ararat Cognac Factory, where you will learn the secrets of the famous Armenian cognac production, and visit the wineries of the Areni region, which is famous for its ancient wine traditions. In addition, you will discover the charm of the artisan city of Gyumri, steeped in rich history and culture.

You will taste exquisite dishes of national cuisine, feel real Armenian hospitality and discover a country that leaves a mark on the heart of every traveler. This tour is your ideal introduction to Armenia, its history, nature and traditions.

Arrival in Yerevan. You will be met at the airport and transferred to the hotel. After accommodation, you will have free time to relax or explore the city on your own.

Sightseeing tour of Yerevan
The morning will begin with a sightseeing tour of Yerevan, the capital of Armenia and one of the oldest cities in the world. You will visit the main sights of the city: Republic Square, the Cascade with its stunning views of the city and Ararat, as well as the Tsitsernakaberd Memorial dedicated to the memory of the victims of the Armenian Genocide. A walk along the central streets of the city will allow you to feel the unique atmosphere of Yerevan, its hospitality and comfort.

Lunch
After the tour, you will go to lunch at one of the best restaurants, where you can try traditional Armenian cuisine, cooked with soul and according to ancient recipes. This is a great opportunity to relax and enjoy the authentic tastes of Armenia.

Etchmiadzin
After lunch, you will head to the holy city of Etchmiadzin, the spiritual heart of Armenia. The first stop will be the Church of St. Hripsime, one of the oldest churches in the country, built in the 7th century. Then you will visit the main church, the Etchmiadzin Cathedral, which is the center of the Armenian Apostolic Church and is considered the oldest Christian cathedral in the world. This majestic temple was built in the 4th century and houses many holy relics.

The ruins of Zvartnots Temple
The day will end with a visit to the ruins of Zvartnots Temple, another unique monument included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. Zvartnots Temple was built in the 7th century and amazed with its unusual architecture, becoming a symbol of Armenian medieval architecture. Despite the fact that the temple was destroyed, its ruins still attract attention with their grandeur and historical significance.

Garni
The morning will begin with a trip to the ancient pagan temple of Garni, the only surviving monument of Hellenistic architecture in Armenia. Built in the 1st century AD, the temple was dedicated to the sun god Mithra and is a unique example of ancient culture. You will enjoy the views of the Azat River gorge, which surrounds the temple, and feel the spirit of ancient history.

Geghard
The next stop is the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Geghard Monastery. This monastery complex is partially carved out of the rock and dates back to the 4th century. Geghard is known for its spiritual significance and unique architecture. Legend has it that the spear that pierced Jesus Christ was kept here, giving the site a special religious significance.

Symphony of Stones
After the monastery, you will go to a natural wonder – the Symphony of Stones. This is a geological formation in the form of giant basalt columns resembling organ pipes. The unique shape of these stones creates an unforgettable spectacle that impresses with its beauty and natural harmony.

Lavash preparation and lunch
One of the interesting moments of the day will be a master class on the preparation of traditional Armenian lavash, an important element of Armenian culture and cuisine. You will see how lavash is baked in a tonir, and you will even be able to try to prepare it yourself. After that, you will have a delicious lunch, including traditional Armenian dishes, where, of course, there will be fresh lavash.

Ararat Cognac Factory
The day will end with an excursion to the famous Ararat Cognac Factory, which is a symbol of Armenian cognac. During the excursion, you will be told about the history and traditions of Armenian cognac production, and you will also be able to taste several types of it. Ararat cognac is famous for its quality and aging, and this tasting will be a wonderful end to a busy day.

Khor Virap
The morning will begin with a visit to one of the most significant monasteries in Armenia – Khor Virap. Situated at the foot of the legendary Mount Ararat, this monastery is an important spiritual and historical symbol of the country. According to legend, it was here that St. Gregory the Illuminator was imprisoned in an underground dungeon for 13 years before converting Armenia to Christianity. Khor Virap offers a breathtaking view of Ararat – the sacred mountain that is a symbol of the Armenian people.

Areni
Next, you will head to the Areni wine region, famous for its ancient winemaking traditions. Here you will be able to visit one of the local wineries, where you will be offered to taste aromatic wines made from the unique grapes growing in these areas. Areni is not only a center of winemaking, but also a place of archaeological discoveries, including the oldest winery found in the caves of this region.

Lunch
After the tasting, you will have lunch in a cozy restaurant, where you can enjoy traditional Armenian dishes. This will be a great opportunity to try local delicacies made from fresh products and feel real Armenian hospitality.

Noravank Monastery
The day will end with a visit to Noravank Monastery, hidden in a picturesque gorge surrounded by red rocks. This 13th century monastery is considered one of the masterpieces of Armenian medieval architecture. Here you can admire the magnificent carved reliefs and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere, feeling the harmony of nature and architecture. Noravank is a place where history, spirituality and nature merge, creating a unique atmosphere of peace and beauty.

Gyumri
The morning will start with a trip to Gyumri, the second largest city in Armenia, which is known for its distinctive architectural style and rich cultural history. Gyumri is famous for its preserved 19th-century buildings, cozy streets and creative atmosphere. During the excursion, you will see the main attractions of the city: Vardanants Square, the Church of the Holy Savior and the Black Fortress. Gyumri is also famous for its crafts and art, so a walk around this city will give you many vivid impressions.

Lunch
After a walk around Gyumri, you will have lunch at one of the local restaurants serving traditional Armenian cuisine. This will be a great opportunity to enjoy the delicious and aromatic dishes of the Shirak region and experience the warm hospitality of this region.

Harichavank Monastery
In the afternoon, you will head to Harichavank Monastery, which is located in the picturesque village of Harich. Built in the 7th century, this monastery is one of the oldest in Armenia. Harichavank amazes with its strict and at the same time exquisite architectural style, as well as its harmony with the surrounding nature. Here you can enjoy the peace and quiet of this holy place, steeped in ancient history.

Saghmosavank Monastery
The day will end with a visit to Saghmosavank Monastery, located on the edge of the picturesque gorge of the Kasakh River. This monastic complex was founded in the 13th century and is famous for its unusual location and majestic architecture. The monastery offers stunning views of the deep gorge and surrounding mountains, creating a sense of peace and tranquility. Saghmosavank, known as the “monastery of psalms,” is an important spiritual center and one of the most beautiful monasteries in Armenia.

Dilijan
The morning will begin with a trip to the picturesque town of Dilijan, which is often called the “Armenian Switzerland” due to its dense forests and clean air. This resort town is famous for its natural beauty and special atmosphere. You will walk through the old town, where ancient houses with unique architecture, small craft workshops and cozy cafes have been preserved. Dilijan attracts with its cultural and creative environment, and a walk along its streets will immerse you in the special atmosphere of this corner of Armenia.

Haghartsin Monastery
After exploring Dilijan, you will head to Haghartsin Monastery, located among wooded hills. This monastery complex, built in the 10th-13th centuries, is surrounded by dense trees and seems hidden from the outside world. Haghartsin is a real treasure of Armenian architecture, harmoniously combining ancient architectural traditions and natural beauty. Silence and peace reign here, and the graceful domes and vaults of the monastery create a feeling of spiritual elevation.

Lake Sevan – Lunch on the Shore
After visiting Haghartsin, you will travel to Lake Sevan, one of the most beautiful and high-altitude lakes in the world. You will spend time on its shore, enjoying the stunning views of the blue waters of the lake and the surrounding mountains. Here you will be offered lunch in one of the restaurants on the shore, where you can try dishes of fresh Sevan fish and other traditional Armenian treats. This will be the perfect end to a day filled with natural beauty and cultural discoveries.

In the morning and part of the day you will have free time to walk around Yerevan, buy souvenirs or just relax in a comfortable environment. You will be able to enjoy the cozy atmosphere of the city, visit local cafes or museums, or spend time on open terraces enjoying the view of Ararat.

At the appointed time, a transfer to the airport will be arranged for your departure.
